We would like to thank Trakke, a returning and always awesome sponsor of Desert Bus For Hope! All Trakke bags are handmade in Scotland, from waxed canvas to ensure no matter what the weather is, everything inside stays nice and dry, and are guaranteed for life so no matter what happens on your way from Vegas to Tucson, you won’t have to worry. Even bug splats can be wiped right off. They also offer a wide line of lifestyle accessories to make your travels easier, and dare we say, more stylish. This year, Trakke has kindly donated multiple custom Canna backpack bundles in beautiful Desert Bus fabric, available for giveaway throughout the run! Thank you Trakke!

The bus rolls on, and Zeta has grabbed the wheel! Welcome to our second Zeta shift of the run, and hoo boy is it a packed night! First, let's talk giveaways!

Keep your eyes on the stream for karaoke, sing-alongs, Keep Talking and Nobody Bricksplodes, and whatever ridiculousness our sleep-deprived brains happen upon!!

One thing you can say about Wizards of the Coast is that they sure aren't coasting 😏. These warm-hearted, wonderful wizards have once again donated a spectacular array of prizes: we have one giveaway prize from them during tonight's Night Watch, and there are more to come this run as well as several already in our bus's rear view mirror!
Tell you what, their generosity makes us feel even more refreshed than the air freshener hanging off said rear view mirror. Wizards of the Coast, you're the spinning winterfresh of our hearts!
Let 'er rrrrrip! The Beyblade Tournament continues with more rip-roaring action! Can Rrrreferee Ian keep these wild tops from spinning out of control? Will anyone burst their opponent tonight? How many minor injuries will be inflicted in the name of bey?!

Beys of the Day:
- Max vs Jordan <— loser of this match will go on to face Meg in Match 3!
- Matt vs Graham
- Match 1 Loser vs Meg
Bracket Standings
Every year, our Desert Bus crew takes the time that's been allotted to them in this short mortal span and plugs it into the transmuter machine, turning those precious minutes and seconds into money raised for the children.
This year, Matt Wiggins (erstwhile cat enthusiast) took hold of his precious mortal span months before the run, measured out hundreds of hours, and forcibly shoved that time into the transmuter machine in order to produce this 1/100 scale RX-78-2 [DB] Custom Painted Gundam:

And then we transmuted it one more time and turned it into a giveaway that went for $7.82 until 8:45pm PT and raised $13,387.84!
Matt walks us through the loving details of the Desert Bus custom gundam he created!

It's only Night 2, but Graham's already got Wet Ones down to a science. Observe these simple, repeatable steps:
Step 1: Collect chicken nuggies
Step 2: Collect a willing victim participant!
Step 3: Dip 'em!
Step 4: Monch 'em!
Step 5: Ask personal questions!
What's that, science nerds? You're supposed to have a hypothesis before you do the experiment? Okay, well, our hypothesis is that people who've just eaten soggy nuggies will still be willing to talk to us, for some reason. Let's find out if it's true.

And since we believe so strongly in repeatability, we made sure to catch tonight's experiment on tape so you can watch Rachel suffer the Wets over and over again. P.S. Happy birthday, Rachel!

It's already been over 24 hours of Desert Bus! That means it's our time to take the stage again and bring you brand new Night Watch shenanigans (of which there are plenty).
Shenanigans like the Beyblade Tournament, Night 2, hosted in the glorious Matt "Cat Enthusiast" Wiggins Memorial Stadium. Apparently we've also got a mascot now? Courtesy of Zeta Shift, which means we're not sure we should be handling it without gloves and safety padding. But it's ours now, and we guess well have to live with that.
As for prizes, we have quite a Magic-al evening ahead of us, and they'll be Gun-dam before you know it, so don't quilt on us now: take a deep breath of the wild and roll up to this November 9 prize list!

From humble beginnings busking on the streets of Philadelphia to acclaimed sold–out runs on Broadway to the longest-running, and one of the most-beloved resident headline acts in Las Vegas history, magic’s legendary duo continues to defy labels—and at times physics and good taste — by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own very distinct niche in comedy. The duo star in the current hit series Penn & Teller: Fool Us! for The CW Network, on which up-and-comers and magic veterans try to fool Penn & Teller for a chance to star in the pair’s hit Las Vegas stage show. In recent years they’ve become acclaimed documentarians with the release of Tim’s Vermeer, which follows Texas-based inventor Tim Jenison on his quest to discover the methods used by Dutch Master painter Johannes Vermeer.Teller has directed versions of Macbeth and The Tempest that toured to raves from The New York Times and Wall Street Journal, co-wrote and directed the Off-Broadway thriller Play Dead and has written two books. Last season, together, Penn & Teller were unmasked after several spirited performances on The Masked Singer. In 2023, Penn & Teller celebrated 48 years of professional partnership.
