Being on Zeta can be tough. Nothing is open, and you're left to scrounge the fridge for whatever might be left. Who amongst us hasn't just mainlined some yellow mustard and hoped for the best? Well, tonight, we rely on the kindness of our friends, and the generosity of our chat. Thanks you all donating a full Desert Buck before the start of the run, Famous Youtuber James Turner has to feed all of the shifts, including us! Of course, we still have to deal with nothing being open, but he has promised a veritable feast from 7/11! Tune in to see the bounty!
We came home from camp, and returned to the couches and our comfy Jock Jams. We hold it always in our hearts, but tonight, it's back to serious business!

We have a lot planned tonight, including a special guest bringing snacks and provisions (stay tuned at 3am PST!), but let's go over those spicy giveaways!

This Night Watch shift draws to an end, but we have learned so much today. Of course, there were big moments (like the Wet Ones Interview with Dan Olson and the Beyblade Tournament) but let's take a moment to cherish the small, weird moments that make Night Watch special.
To do that, we must establish First Principles. What is Night Watch?
How much shade can we throw at other shifts for driving the bus badly...
...and present ourselves as experts...
...well enough to help newcomer Dan Olson score a bus stop...
...only for Ian to drive straight off the road in the name of caltrops.
We brushed up on our history knowledge and learned about Belopa! Not only its origins with Desert Bus, but also, where is it now?
Ian showcased his musical talents and made the classic "you're on hold" music even better.
And Rachel was a Midwestern, underwater horse. You had to be there (or watch the VOD, I guess.)
And at last, on Day 4 of Desert Bus, we finally Tikked some Toks.
See you tomorrow for more "late night talk show with a weird twist" vibes!

At blades frenetic, I'm so pathetic
But I always rip it my best
Instead of taking time off for rest
'Cause I'm on a Beyblade quest!
I hate parading my subpar blading,
As I'm terrified I'll get burst,
But hey, this tourney is quite a journey,
And there's always a chance
I'll come in first!

It's my top!
At Matt-Cat-Enthusiast-Wiggins-Memorial Stadium!
It's my top!
Slicing into my thumb!
It's a false start and reset and we're off –
Dang I'm down in the Litterbox.
But I could still come back,
So I go on the attack,
With my sights on the top of the brack(et)!

Bracket Standings
Beys of the Day:
- Jordan v Brett in the Matt "Cat Enthusiast" Memorial Stadium
- Matt v Julie in the Matt "Cat Enthusiast" Memorial Stadium
- Graham v Ian in The Litterbox

It's that time again! Time to torment our friends for fun and (charitable) profit!

Dan Olson (of Folding Ideas) was kind enough to volunteer his time as a guest of Desert Bus. In order to deter him from ever making that kind-hearted mistake ever again (or perhaps just test his mettle to make sure that if he does it again, he knows what he's in for...) we are dragging Dan to the Moist Zone.

Watch Dan experience the Pea Wet and other Choice Wets while regaling us with the sordid history of the Taco Bell Wedding in Decentraland and Other Stories:

Starting 7pm PT sharp, we are going to host a Live Auction for this beautiful bag. To participate, you will need:

- ???
- Reverse Profit! AKA donate responsibly by typing in Twitch chat 💖
That's it! Now you're ready to participate in (or just watch along and scream with excitement at) A LIIIIIIVE (auction)!

Catch the VOD with its twists, turns, and (proxy) bidding war:
We know it's scary out there in the dark and the wilderness. As the planet descends towards winter equinox, and the nights get longer, your voice cries out for heroes to protect you from the gathering cold. And we answer your call: Night Watch has arrived. We'll keep you safe from even the most vicious owls.

No, no need to thank us. Courage and Service are our middle names, which is really hard to fit on a government form actually and we wish our parental units would have thought that through. Anyway. Who's ready to spend 6 hours hanging out (and maybe winning prizes!) with Night Courage Service Watch? You are, that's who!
LIVE AUCTION
Tonight, we'll be hosting a live auction starting at 7pm PT! Make sure you have your donor account set up here on desertbus.org as well as your linked Twitch account ready to log in and bid.
Up for grabs will be this frickin' delicious Magic: the Gathering Leather Bag that will keep your items not only safe but stylish as you gallivant between planes - whether that be planes of existence or planes in the sky. UPDATE: The bag has sold to Nycthemeron for $4,250!
