We’re delighted to welcome back Ken “Value Added” Steacy, from Ken Steacy Publishing, to Desert Bus 2017.
If you’re new to Desert Bus, Ken Steacy has been supporting us for practically forever. He is a member of the Canadian Comic Book Creator’s Hall of Fame, won a Shuster Award, and is Alex’s dad!
His nickname of “Value Added” came about because of all the wonderful contributions and time he has spent with us, and for the children on Desert Bus. Every year with Ken has been full of surprises and delight and we’re sure this year will be no different.

This week we are doing our best to raise money for the children and play this extremely boring game. Some viewers have taken it upon themselves to join us in a manic journey, but they’re trying to make games that are WAY better than what we play.
The Desert Bus Game Jam is looking to repeat the success of last year in creating Desert Bus themed games during the same time that we bus. Last year had eleven entries and anyone is open to join in and jam a game together. In addition to the Desert Bus theme there is an additional bonus theme of Sleep Deprivation, go nuts!
This lot isn’t just pretty to look at, though it’s definitely that. The Commander Lot of Awesome contains a copy of Commander Anthology, as well as “Heavenly Inferno”, “Evasive Maneuvers”, “Guided by Nature” and “Plunder the Graves”, along with four life counters, tokens, and all the cards from the original decks, all packaged together in very handy and mighty fancy case. With exclusive foil cards, this lot is a great way to build your collection, or get started with a bang. Generously donated by Wizards of the Coast.

While not legally playable, they are definitely worth keeping on your shelf or pulling out in case someone tries to cast some spells at your face. Unless they’re green spells, then you’re on your own.
