Penn Jillette will be calling into Desert Bus at Noon PST on November 22nd!
Penn Jillette is an American magician/illusionist, juggler, comedian, musician, inventor, actor, and best-selling author known for his work with fellow magician Teller as half of the team Penn & Teller. More importantly (to us at least), he’s a big part of how we’re all here doing what we do. Penn & Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors for the Sega CD contains the Desert Bus mini game and without it, Desert Bus literally wouldn’t exist!
Have a question for Penn? Leave it in the comments below.

Things she’d like to do on her shift: “This year I’d like to add some mayhem and adventure to the afternoon shift. I don’t know what form this could take… competitive trivia, extreme music appreciation, discussions of PG13 fanfic. Nothing’s off the table. My definition of mayhem might not be the same as yours.”
I’m Kathleen De Vere, and I’m here to PARTY!

Andy has lovingly created a character named West Country Doctor, a new incarnation of The Doctor. He has requested art of the character, in all of his glory. Check out the Crapshots for some laughs and good references.
We have to say though, this is no traditional creative challenge, we have no physical prize for you this time, but if you submit some you a) get Andy’s love and admiration and b) a chance to have a say on what Andy does. Want to hear him sing a specific song as the West Country Doctor? Want to hear a Doctor Who speech with him in character? You’ll get your chance to tell him what to do!
You have until 9:00am PST to get those submissions in!
Please send your submissions to contest@desertbus.org with the subject line “West Country Doctor”. Include your submission as a photo attachment in JPG, PNG, or GIF format.
Please be sure to also include the screen name you’d like us
to use on air should your submission win.

Next we have a selection of cool board games for you to try your hand at! In this lot you’ll find a copy of Krosmaster Area, a copy of Courtier; and a copy of Lost Temple. Donate $5.42 or multiples thereof until 7:15am PST for your chance to win!

Dawn rises as we approach the fifth day of bussing here at the Moonbase. Andy’s taken over driving duties on the bus and it’s been a night of stellar performances and chill discussions. Here’s some highlights…
Andy started his shift quite harmonically:
The room plays Dis or Dat – Pokemon or Prescription Drug?
Maddie blows the room away with a performance of Defying Gravity, from Wicked:
