It’s been a crazy first day of Desert Bus. As we wind down Day 1 and head into Day 2, here’s a rundown of what you might have missed:
Andrew might have started out excited as he took the controls of the bus from James, however time (and the energy of our crew) soon distracted him enough to have our first crash of the year! #BlameAndrew
We asked for everyone to flex their creative muscles and tasked the viewers to create a Haiku about the journey we’ve taken to get to Desert Bus 10. We had many wonderful submissions but in the end, chat user Akaiatana took the top prize with this haiku:

Thanks to your amazing generosity we have already SOLD OUT of our Pinny Arcade Desert Bus Pins. Now the only way to get these pins is to win them along with any Desert Bus prize. There are still plenty of great Desert Bus Posters, Photo Books, and Playmats however!
James had a BOLD idea for an art challenge for the tail end of his shift. He decided that he wanted to solicit TATTOO ideas for a possible tattoo that James would get as his first. This is the design that James is going to be workshopping from chat user GothicPie!
Bengineering brought back his infamous “describing things” voice from Desert Bus 9 and used it to possibly nuclear effect. Whilst describing one of our awesome silent auctions Ben’s unbelievable delivery took out the ENTIRE Lunar Module. Engineering, Communications, Web, didn’t matter because we ALL died laughing. This is a VST clip you DON’T want to skip.
Congratulations to user Gothicpie for the selection of their tattoo design for James’ art challenge! James is going to workshop this idea with a tattoo artist to get everything looking perfect.

I came up with some other ideas, but Desert Bus had momentum. I’ll cop to being on the wrong side of that argument.
