We all get greedy sometimes. But greed is justified when what you want is as charming and lovely as this No Face Handknit Blanket! Unlike the gold in No Face's little hands, this is not too good be true. It's very real, could be yours, and we guarantee will not transform into a ravenous monster that eats you.

NOTE: Someone else's legs and arms not included.

Donate $7.20 (or multiples thereof) before 8:40pm PT for a chance to win the No Face Handknit Blanket!

Live Auction: Innistrad Uncommons

LIVE. RAW. UNCUT. These Uncommon Innistrad Magic cards are shiny and new, even though the set released back in 2011. You may recall that we auctioned a different uncut sheet of uncommon Innistrad Magic cards back then, and the winner of that auction permanently loaned it back to Loading Ready Run where it's been on our wall ever since.

This sheet - which is a different sheet, mind you  - could hang on your wall for 12+ years, giving you joy every time you pass by and see its sparkly, printer-fresh foils.

Contest over! Congratulations to That_One_Purple_Fox who took it away for $6,699. Very nice.

It is the end of Alpha Flight again

Art Challenge: Desert Bus Anime Title Card
November 15, 2023 at 06:47 PM PST
Posted by Soraya

We set the stage for Desert Bus 2023 with our anime intro video, but something was missing. We sat down for a few days and thought about it, and thought about it and thought about it, and then we got distracted by crabs, but then we thought about it again and AT LAST we realized what it was: we need a title card! We can't be a proper anime without a title card. Please, come to our rescue!

We need you to create a Desert Bus for Hope 2023 anime title card. Send it to contests@desertbus.org with the subject "Title Card" before 10:30pm PT. JPG or PNG format only!

Our favorite will receive a Desert Bus 2023 t-shirt (Unisex, size of your choice) and a sense of pride in knowing that you encouraged us to continue being Like This.

Image of black t-shirt against an orange background. The design on the shirt is done in a classic Mac OS with orange, cyan, and pale yellow. The shirt says Desert Bus 2023
Silent Auctions: don't scare the bunny

We've got items! You might want 'em. Let us know by bidding very, very quietly. If you bid too loudly, then the auction bunny gets scared and flees into the safety of its burrow, taking all the prizes with it. So shhhhh. bid very softly

Legend of Zelda Wood Panel Triptych

Picture of all 6 panels of the Legend of Zelda Wood Panel Triptych. Top are all three in color, bottom are all three artists proofs. In order from left to right Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. Order is the same top and bottom.

The craftswork on these triptych pieces would make any Zonai proud. Link and Zelda look wonderful, but we both know that you're really here for Handsome Gannon. You can bring him home and gaze longingly at him every single day if you win this item!

"Legend of Zelda Wood Panel Triptych" auction ends at 2:00am PT.

Cross Stitched Progress Pride Flag

Photo of a cross-stitched Progress Pride Flag framed with a white matte and simple black frame.

Progressing the main quest in a video game? Optional. Progressing society to make it a more welcoming space where everyone can explore and express their unique identity with both institutional and inter-personal support? Necessary. Put that progress pride up on your wall!

"Cross-Stitched Progress Pride Flag" auction ends at 2:00am PT.

We have 2 silent auctions ending soon.

First this amazing Vash the Stampede inspired Chocobo

You're looking for who? Oh no, no, this is Crash! Crash the Sand Dweeb! He's a very big fan of Vash the Stampede from Trigun, but as you can see, he's a bird!  This fellow appreciator of fine pastries features a fully wired neck, legs, toes, tail feathers, wings and primary feathers for posability.  The wings can also pivot forward and backward a bit for extra expression, and the jaw joint allows the top and bottom beak to pose independently of each other.  Standing at 12 inches tall with a 12 inch wingspan, made of a combination of superwash merino and baby alpaca yarns and filled with polyfil, this pleasantly soft companion is intended for adult collectors.  The glasses may be considered a "small part", after all, and the coat is clearly for refined tastes!  Speaking of, please don't leave your donuts unattended around this bird.

To enter go here.

Next we have a set of masquerade masks based on the shift pennants.

A set of five masquerade masks based on the Desert Bus for Hope Shift Pennants, including Omega Shift. They are carved from 6oz vegetable tanned leather, painted with white gesso and acrylic paints, sealed with polyurethane satin varnish on the front (and over the maker's initials on the back), and rubbed with carnauba creme on the back. Each mask comes with a 45" white elastic cord for wearing or hanging. The masks can be slightly reshaped with gentle pressure if needed (for example to widen or narrow the nose bridge for comfort) and can be wiped with a damp cloth.

To bid go here.

These auctions end at 6:00 PM PST
