This evening’s creative challenge is… interesting, but we hope you’ll have a lot of fun with this. First things first, ever seen Monster Factory? It’s a web series where they create a grotesque character in a game (using a character builder of some kind), come up with some backstory, then play through the game as that character they’ve created.

Now that we’re on the same page, in this creative challenge, we’ve tasked the community to create Beej, Johnny, or both in a character creator from the video game of your choice, as grotesque as possible (but still bus-friendly, please!). Then take a picture and send it in to us!

Send your entries to contest@desertbus.org with the subject line “Monster Factory.” Please send your submissions in as .png or .jpg and be sure to include the screen name we should use for you should your submission win. Up for grabs is… a chance to drive the Desert Bus remotely from home! (This also means that we strongly recommend making sure you’ll be online when this challenge concludes, around 5:45am PST.) We’ll run this challenge until 5:15am PST.
